Bodmin Jail - Wedding Venue

One of the UK’s most haunted venues, Bodmin Jail, offers a unique historic venue for your wedding ceremony and celebrations.  Originally built for King George III in 1779, the atmospheric spaces and beautiful architecture will give your wedding photographer plenty of creative backdrops in which to record your nuptial magic.

Bodmin Jail’s team is able to accommodate your special day from beginning to end; from the ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening refreshments, to live music and party venue.

By working closely with their in-house wedding co-ordinator, we can make your day completely unique to you. bodmin jail dark elegance wedding

This is the Jail’s largest space and popular with wedding parties hosting all-day occasions.  Within the Hall is a stunning balcony area, and two viewing boxes; both beautifully finished and perfect for smaller, more intimate gatherings.

Bodmin Jail caters for both traditional, alternative, and themed wedding parties for up to 110 guests, with parking onsite and nearby.  Plans for the rejuvenation of part of Bodmin Jail as a hotel are in place, and the new multi-million-pound visitor attraction, designed by Sarner International, is expected to open in Spring 2019; offering you and your guests unusual accommodation to complete your wedding package.
