When imagining a winter wedding, I immediately think of crackling fires, warm and furry wraps and lots of twinkly lights and candles – lovely!  ...but remember, whilst winter is a beautiful time of the year it brings with it potential challenges and considerations.

Here are my top tips ‘things to remember’ when planning a winter wedding:

Low season discounts, anyone?

Every bride or groom is looking for that magic ingredient to ensure their event is extra special. After the dress, a top-notch location and an excellent menu are among the top priorities when planning a wedding. With liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) used by more than 13,000 outdoor caterers in the UK as well as by rural hotels and spas, there are very few limits on where you can hold your wedding reception and what food can be served up to hungry guests. 

LPG has even been used to cook on the highest slopes of Mount Everest and so the happy couple can rest assured that they can indulge on their favourite food regardless of where they plan to celebrate their nuptials.

Step One 

STOP everything you are doing (tweezing, threading, shaving) in fact no eyebrow hair removal for the next few months just let them grow out. Resisting the urge to reshape or even tidy up your brows at this stage will ensure you have the maximum amount of eyebrow hairs to work with before you start styling them. It's a lot more difficult to get a shape you love otherwise.

Step Two  

Wedding photography can be one of the most expensive elements of your wedding day, so it’s essential that you make the right decision when it comes to your choice of photographer.

You’ll want to be 100% confident that the photographer you choose will capture all the special moments of your big day and in the style you want.

Which means that the first, and most important, decision you’ll want to make is about whether you’re after traditional or contemporary wedding photography, or a bit of both!
